Why are we sharing our "secrets"?
In the business world, people usually keep their operational wins close to the chest. We think that’s a mistake. Over the last couple decades at swissbakers, we’ve spent thousands of hours and significant capital testing everything, from the staplers that don’t jam to the ovens that actually hold their temp during a rush.
We believe the community is stronger when we stop reinventing the wheel. This page is our “living archive” of the tools, equipment, and supplies that have survived the rigors of our daily operations.

Why we use it: These are industrial-grade mitts that provide a level of heat protection we haven’t found anywhere else. They cover the hands and the entire forearm, which is comforting. We have been using these for years and have yet to throw a single pair away. They are incredibly durable and survive the wash and dry cycle without losing their insulation. While the protection is unmatched, the small fabric hanging loops aren’t as tough as the mitts themselves, they tend to break over time. We either attach our own hangers or just keep them on a table or counter. It’s a small trade-off for a mitt that actually lasts years instead of months.
