In 2006, Helene & Thomas founded swissbakers and set out to bring European baked goods to the Boston area. Today, swissbakers has two locations in the greater Boston area and we continue to pursue bringing high quality European pastries to the area.

Counter Crew
Reading, MA
Pay: $23/hour (Base pay: $15/hr + Daily Pooled Cash Tips: $8/hr (2025 Average))
Saturday and/or Sunday, 6am – 3pm (Plus optional weekday shifts)
Be part of our Counter Crew! You’ll be the face of our bakery, working a dynamic role that shifts from opening the shop and baking off fresh pastries to crafting sandwiches and specialty drinks. Beyond managing the register and connecting with our guests, you will stay active in the flow of the floor, overseeing stock, maintaining the display, and ensuring a smooth close. In this role, you aren’t just taking orders; you are a multi-talented maker ensuring every guest experiences the best it can be.
